This Privacy Policy is intended to be read together with neburon’s Terms & Conditions.

1. About this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Orbitron Technologies LLC, operating the neburon platform (“neburon”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you access or use the neburon website, applications, dashboards, communication features, trainer discovery services, company hiring features, verification workflows, engagements, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

neburon is a two-sided professional training marketplace that connects independent corporate trainers with companies seeking workshops, training programmes, and other learning engagements. The Platform provides trainer profiles and discovery, company profiles, opportunities, applications, direct conversations, relationship workspaces, documents, notifications, verification workflows, engagements, contracts, and related records.

This Policy applies to information relating to individuals who use neburon, including trainers, company representatives, applicants, account holders, and other individuals whose personal information is submitted to neburon through the Platform.

By using neburon, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular processing activity, neburon will seek that consent in the manner required by law.

2. Information neburon collects

2.1 Account and authentication information

When you create or access a neburon account, neburon may collect your email address, authentication information, account identifier, account role, authentication provider, account status, onboarding status, and information necessary to maintain the security of your account. neburon supports email/password authentication and Google-based sign-in.

Passwords are processed using server-side password hashing mechanisms. neburon does not intend to store passwords in plain text.

2.2 Trainer profile information

If you register or operate as a trainer, neburon may collect and display information that you choose to include in your professional profile. This may include your display name, professional headline, biography, years of experience, skills, location, current or past professional information, website or professional social links, availability information, profile image, certifications, workshop portfolio information, client or organisation names included in portfolio entries, participant counts, delivery mode, workshop dates, descriptions, and other professional information you submit.

Information included in a public trainer profile is intended to support professional discovery by companies. You should not place private contact information, passwords, identity numbers, financial credentials, or other information that you do not want publicly displayed into public profile fields.

2.3 Company information

If you register or operate as a company, neburon may collect company name, industry, company size, business location, contact information, website or professional links, profile information, training requirements, opportunity details, and information associated with company representatives using the Platform.

2.4 Verification and credential information

neburon provides a verification workflow in which users may submit documents such as resumes, certificates, or other supporting documents for administrative review. Verification documents may contain personal and professional information. neburon may use these documents to evaluate the information submitted for verification, record review outcomes, communicate the status of the review, and maintain appropriate verification records.

A neburon verification badge indicates that the relevant information or documents have been reviewed according to neburon’s verification process. Verification is not a guarantee of a trainer’s qualifications, conduct, performance, availability, or future results.

2.5 Opportunities, applications, engagements, and contracts

neburon may collect information relating to training opportunities, applications, shortlisting, conversations, engagements, contracts, delivery arrangements, dates, locations, commercial terms, status updates, and other information necessary to facilitate or document a company–trainer relationship.

2.6 Communications and relationship information

neburon provides one-to-one company–trainer conversations and relationship workspaces. Information processed through these features may include message content, attachments, documents, read status, activity records, notes, engagement information, and notifications. Access to relationship information is intended to be limited according to the user’s role and participation in the relevant relationship.

2.7 Reviews and ratings

neburon may collect reviews and ratings submitted by eligible users. Reviews are intended to reflect genuine experiences arising from qualifying engagements or completed training activity. neburon may retain review content and associated metadata for trust, safety, moderation, dispute handling, and platform integrity.

2.8 Technical and usage information

When you use the Platform, neburon and its service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, operating system, authentication events, timestamps, pages or features accessed, error information, security events, and similar information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Platform.

2.9 Uploaded files and media

neburon may receive files uploaded through profile, verification, portfolio, relationship, contract, engagement, and messaging features. Depending on the feature, these may include profile images, workshop cover images, certificates, resumes, presentations, spreadsheets, documents, and other permitted attachments.

3. How neburon uses personal information

neburon uses personal information only for purposes connected with operating, securing, improving, and administering the Platform and for other purposes permitted by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include the following:

• Creating, authenticating, maintaining, and securing user accounts.
• Providing trainer discovery, company discovery, opportunities, applications, messaging, relationship, engagement, and contract features.
• Displaying professional information that a user intentionally makes public through the Platform.
• Processing verification submissions and administering verification decisions.
• Facilitating communication between trainers and companies that have established or initiated a relationship through neburon.
• Maintaining records of applications, engagements, contracts, documents, activity, notifications, and other platform events.
• Sending transactional notifications and service communications, including verification updates, application updates, messages, engagement updates, and security notices.
• Preventing fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, impersonation, manipulation of reviews, and other misuse.
• Monitoring and improving Platform reliability, performance, usability, and security.
• Responding to support requests, complaints, disputes, and legal or regulatory requirements.
• Establishing, exercising, or defending legal rights and maintaining business records where reasonably necessary.

neburon does not sell personal information merely because it is collected through the Platform. neburon may, however, disclose information to service providers, professional advisers, authorities, or other parties where necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as permitted or required by law.

4. Public profiles and information visibility

neburon is a professional marketplace, and certain trainer and company information is designed to be discoverable by other Platform users or visitors. Public-facing trainer profiles may include professional identity information, headline, experience, skills, location, certifications, portfolio entries, profile image, and other information selected for marketplace discovery.

Users should carefully consider what they publish. Information intentionally placed in public profile fields may be visible to companies, trainers, visitors, search engines, or other parties depending on neburon’s configuration and the visibility settings available for the relevant feature.

Private relationship information, direct messages, internal notes, and verification review information are not intended to be published as public profile content. neburon will apply access controls appropriate to the relevant feature and role, subject to the technical configuration of the Platform and applicable law.

5. Sharing and disclosure of information

neburon may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

• Between Platform participants: information necessary to support a trainer–company relationship may be shared with the relevant participant when the feature or user action requires it.
• Service providers: neburon may use third-party providers for hosting, storage, authentication, communications, analytics, security, infrastructure, email, file handling, and other services required to operate the Platform.
• Professional advisers: neburon may share relevant information with legal, accounting, tax, audit, insurance, or other professional advisers where reasonably necessary.
• Authorities and legal processes: neburon may disclose information where required by applicable law, lawful governmental requests, court orders, or to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of neburon, users, or others.
• Business transactions: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
• With your direction: neburon may share information when you specifically request or authorise it.

neburon does not authorise third parties to use personal information obtained through neburon for unrelated purposes merely because they received access to it. Third-party services may have their own privacy terms and policies, which should be reviewed where relevant.

6. Google sign-in and third-party authentication

neburon supports Google sign-in. When you use this option, Google provides neburon with information from the authentication credential necessary to verify the sign-in and associate the account with neburon. neburon may process the associated email address and Google account identifier and may record that the account was authenticated through Google.

neburon does not receive your Google password through the normal Google sign-in flow. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google’s own terms and privacy practices.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

neburon may use cookies, local storage, session mechanisms, or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary to authenticate users, maintain application state, remember preferences, protect the Platform, measure performance, and understand how Platform features are used.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, neburon will provide an appropriate consent or preference mechanism.

8. Data security

neburon takes reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, misuse, or destruction. Security measures may include access controls, authentication, password hashing, role-based access restrictions, secure development practices, logging, infrastructure controls, backups, and other measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the Platform.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials, using appropriate device security, and notifying neburon promptly if they suspect unauthorised access.

9. Data retention

neburon retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, maintain the user relationship, satisfy legitimate business and legal requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods. For example, account records may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards; transaction, engagement, contract, dispute, audit, and legal records may need to be retained longer; and information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymised, or otherwise disposed of subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.

Where a user requests deletion, neburon will evaluate the request under applicable law. Deletion may not immediately remove information that neburon is legally required or reasonably entitled to retain, including records needed for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, legal claims, accounting, or compliance.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and the law applicable to neburon’s processing, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These may include requesting access to information held about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where permitted, withdrawal of consent where consent is the applicable basis, information about processing, and grievance or complaint mechanisms.

You may also control certain information through your neburon account, including profile information and content that the Platform allows you to edit or remove.

11. Children and minors

neburon is intended for professional adult users and is not designed as a service for children. Users must provide accurate information about their age and eligibility where requested. neburon does not knowingly seek to build professional marketplace profiles for children.

12. International and cross-border processing

neburon may use infrastructure and service providers that process information from locations outside the user’s immediate jurisdiction. Where personal information is transferred or processed across jurisdictions, neburon will do so subject to applicable law and any required contractual, organisational, or technical safeguards.

13. Third-party websites and services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, professional profiles, authentication providers, or other external services. neburon does not control the privacy practices of third parties and is not responsible for their policies. Users should review the privacy notices of third-party services before providing information to them.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

neburon may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, law, technology, business practices, or security requirements. The revised version will be published on the Platform with an updated effective or last-updated date.

Where a change materially affects users and applicable law requires additional notice or consent, neburon will provide the notice or obtain consent required by law.

16. Applicable law

This Privacy Policy is intended to operate in accordance with the laws applicable to neburon and the processing of personal information through the Platform. For users in India, neburon will take into account the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and other applicable privacy, information technology, contractual, and regulatory requirements, as and when the relevant provisions apply.
